Colmar Saturday afternoon and evening

Saturday afternoon, we headed to Colmar by train. Colmar is a smaller town in Alsace, near the German border. It is often called the “prettiest small town in France.”

It is also apparently a place to have events leading up to and including weddings, because we encountered several, including this group. Interesting head attire.

Voltaire lived in this house for several years.

These guys just came walking down the street. You heard them well before they reached you.
