Strasbourg photos (I)
The Alsace and Lorraine regions both have a lot of half-timbered homes and buildings.
This gentleman was playing in the cathedral square.
Vicki at the train station. While we were waiting, a train came though the station on an outside trac. It was going full speed, and it had must have been going 200 km or more.
Trees outside our building in Strasbourg. The French do this along roadways and in parks all the time. Their gardens are very sculpted.
At dinner in Strasbourg, amidst all the other decor, there were these little additions to outlets, etc. on the walls.
These guys have stolen the wet paint sign for the bench.
As for the food, it gets a lot heavier in this area. I had choucroute garnie (sauerkraut) with five meats.
