Sunday

On Sunday, Doug and Pam left for their wine tour and we (Vicki and I) had a nice breakfast on La Rue Des Martyrs, one of the prettiest and most French (our opinion) parts of Paris.

Afterwards, we walked to the  Moulin Rouge where we would catch le Petit Train up to the Sacre-Cour. What is not shown here are the many stores in this area selling sex toys and clothing of all varieties. Vicki says that we should not post the pictures I took here.

For a city that dates its origins to the third century BC, the Sacre-Cour is a relatively new building, consecrated in 1919. But the view from its steps is incredible and the surrounding area is full of shops and artists.

The “entrepreneurs” of this area have encouraged the use of locks and sell them near this fence.
