Random shots I

A wonderful restaurant, Le Cafe de Paris, located a couple of hundred yards from the Louvre. 

More locks, this time on the banks of the Seine.

Last night, we went up the Tour Montparnasse, the only true skyscraper in Paris proper. The view was gorgeous. And in the evening, on the hour, the Eiffel Tower light show takes place.

Return to the Arc de Triomphe -  this was taken, safely, in the crosswalk of the Champs-Elysees (8 lanes). There were, however, a large number of nominees for the Darwin Awards. They would stand in the street, or in the one-foot-wide center median, and take a selfie. One guy was down on the ground - in the middle of this traffic - trying to shoot his female friend at the right angle.   

At the Louvre, this woman was creating bubbles. 

The circular stairways are beautiful, unless you are carrying luggage. The first is in the Arc de Triomphe; the second is in our apartment building.
